Modern Slavery Act

This statement has been published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by Helluva Pasties Ltd to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.
Introduction

We know that slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking (Modern Slavery) is a global and growing issue given the rapid rise in global migration, existing in every region in the world and in every type of economy, whether industrialised, developing or in transition. No sector or industry can be considered immune or untainted. Helluva Pasties takes a zero tolerance approach to Modern Slavery of any kind within our operations and supply chain. We all have a responsibly to be alert to the risks, however small, in our business and in the wider supply chain. Staff are expected

to report concerns, using the appropriate reporting channels, and management are expected to act upon them.
Our business and supply chains

Helluva Pasties is a small business under the current threshold of £36m turnover selling own brand food online and over the counter in the UK. Our product supply chain is mainly local or within the UK only.
Policies and contractual controls

All reports of any potential slavery will be fully investigated and appropriate remedial actions taken.

Policies are developed by and signed off at Director-level.

We require our suppliers to have adequate due diligence in place to ensure modern slavery procedures and policies are in place. In the year ahead we will look to understand in more detail how our suppliers are ensuring adequate policies are implemented.
